Essentially a Negroni, but substituting the base gin for whiskey. It was named after a 1920s Paris-based magazine founded by Erskine Gwynne.

  • 1.5 oz (45 mL) Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz (30 mL) Campari
  • 1 oz (30 mL) Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange Peel

    Combine whiskey, Campari, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass with ice.

    Stir for 30 seconds.

    Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass over a large cube.

    Garnish with an orange peel.
