  • 2 oz (60 mL) Rye or Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 oz (30 mL) Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz (22.5 mL) Simple Syrup
  • 0.5 oz (15 mL) Dry Red Wine (float)
  • Orange Slice

    Combine whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.

    Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

    Gently float the red wine on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a bar spoon.
