  • 2 oz (60 mL) Whiskey
  • 0.25 oz (7.5 mL) Absinthe
  • 1 Sugar Cube
  • 2 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Ice for Stirring

    Rinse a chilled rocks glass with Absinthe and discard the excess.

    In a separate mixing glass, combine Whiskey, sugar, and bitters with ice.

    Stir until very cold.

  4. 4

    Strain into the Absinthe-rinsed glass (no ice).

    Express a lemon peel over the drink and discard.
